Assigning a Phone Number to an Operator

The following describes how to specify the phone number used by an operator to receive calls.

Implementation

1. Access the Operators list for the intended customer.

   1. Access the resources page for the intended customer.

      1. Access the details page for the intended customer.

         How do I access the details of a specific customer?

         1. Type the customer’s name into the search field at the top of any page.
         2. Click the intended customer in the search results. This opens the Customer Details page.

      2. Select the Customer Resources tab.

   2. Click the Operators hyperlink.

2. Locate the intended operator in the list.
3. Under the Phone Number column, if you can see a Phone Number field, type the intended number there. If you can't see this field, use the drop-down menu to select Phone Number, and then fill out the field when it appears.
4. Click Save Settings.
