Tariffs: Overview

The cost of any call on a service—whether it be inbound, outbound, or internal enquiry—is determined by an assigned Tariff. This is not the same as the cost of per-feature billing, which is driven by one or more Price Lists.

A single tariff can determine the cost of any call based on the number dialled and the originating call provider. All tariffs (other than the main, system-wide tariff) are based on a template, and inherit each of their cost rates from that template except where explicitly defined.
