Creating an Agent Configuration

The following describes how to create a new configuration on behalf of a Customer.

Each new configuration is based on one of the following:

  • Another configuration owned by the Customer.

  • A global configuration template, available to all.

  • A configuration template that has been shared on behalf of the Customer.

Implementation

  1. Access the resources page for the intended Customer.

    1. Access the details page for the intended Customer.

      1. Type the Customer’s name into the search field at the top of any page.
      2. Click the intended Customer in the search results. This opens the Customer Details page.
    1. Select the Customer Resources tab.
  1. Click the CC4Web Configurations hyperlink.
  1. Select the Add New Config tab.
  2. Select the configuration or template on which to base the new configuration.
  3. Use the text field to specify a meaningful name.

    Leaving the field blank will cause the new configuration to have the same name as the original.

  4. Click Create a New Configuration. The page will refresh, letting you create another configuration if needed.
