Selecting a Configuration for an Agent

Each time an Agent logs into the Cxp Agent Experience, the things they can do and see will depend on which configuration has been assigned to them.

This process assumes that the intended configuration has already been created. However, you will have the opportunity to create a configuration as part of the process, if needed.

Implementation

Access the Agents list for the intended Customer.
How do I view a list of Agents for a specific Customer?
1. Access the resources page for the intended Customer.

  Access the details page for the intended Customer.

  Type the Customer’s name into the search field at the top of any page.
  Click the intended Customer in the search results. This opens the Customer Details page.
  Select the Customer Resources tab.
1. Click the Agents hyperlink.

Locate the intended Agent in the list.
Under CC4Web Options, use the drop-down to select the intended configuration.
If you want to create a new configuration here and assign it to the selected Agent, look in the drop-down under the Create New One from a Template section. Select an existing configuration on which you want to base the new one. Remember to modify the new configuration when you have completed this process.
Click Save Settings.
