Creating Agents

The following describes how to add one or more Agents on behalf of a Customer.

Implementation

  1. Access the Agents list for the intended Customer.
  1. Select the Import/Create tab.

  2. Locate the Create New Agents page section.
  3. Using the drop-down provided, specify the number of Agents you intend to create.
  4. Use the radio buttons to select the method of creation, which can be:
    • Use default values / settings
    • (Recommended) Copy (except for name and PIN) of [Agent]
    • Blank operator details

      Agents created with blank details will have no permissions, so you will need to configure them separately before they can be used.

  5. (Copy Agent only) Use the drop-down to choose an existing Agent to copy.
  6. Click Create Now.

Details of the new Agents will appear at the top of the screen. You can click the Details hyperlink for any of these to jump straight to the relevant page, or you can switch back to the List tab to view them alongside any pre-existing ones.

Whichever method you use, you will need to modify each new Agent to give them a proper name, user name, and password, and make necessary changes to their permissions, etc.
