Creating a Tariff

The following describes how to create a tariff based on an existing template. Once you have done this, you will need to modify its price bands to determine the actual cost of associated calls.

To create or amend a tariff, you must be given permission by a system administrator. Contact Support to request this as needed.

Implementation

  1. Access the tariffs list.
    1. Access the Partner Properties page.
      1. Hover the cursor over your company name in the top-left corner of any page. This will open a context menu.
      1. Select Your PartnerProperties. This opens the Partner page, with the Contact Details tab selected.
    1. Select the Tariffs tab.
  1. Scroll down to the Create New Tariff section.
  2. Provide a suitable Name for the tariff. This should be something that clearly identifies the tariff, rather than something generic such as "New tariff".
  3. Use the Derive From drop-down to choose a template tariff on which to base the new one.

    All necessary template tariffs should already have been made available to you. If you need a new template, please contact Support.

  4. Click Create Tariff.
  5. At this point, you'll be navigated to the Edit Tariff screen for the new tariff. You should now apply all necessary price bands and other settings as required.
