Modifying a Registered IDA CLI Entry

The following describes how to make changes to a registered Calling Line Identifier (CLI) against a specific Customer.

Implementation

1. Access the list of registered CLIs for the intended Customer.

         1. Type the Customer’s name into the search field at the top of any page.
         2. Click the intended Customer in the search results. This opens the Customer Details page.

      2. Select the Customer Resources tab.

   2. Click the Indirect Access CLIs hyperlink.

2. Locate the Registered CLIs list.
3. Locate the intended CLI entry and click the Tick to Edit Name and Other Settings check box. This displays several new options.
4. Use the fields provided to make the intended changes.

   Setting	Description	Further Reading
   Name	Change the name associated with this CLI. This can be anything relevant to the CLI, such as the name of the number's owner.
   Tariff	Use the drop-down to select an appropriate tariff for outbound calls made by this CLI. This will default to the tariff associated with the Customer as a whole.	Tariffs: Overview
   Withhold the CLI	If you want outbound calls made by this CLI to have their CLI withheld from call recipients, tick this check box.
   Outbound (Presentation) CLI	Ordinarily, the network CLI will be presented to recipients of outbound IDA calls. If you want something else to show instead, use this drop-down to select any number available to the Customer.
   Call Recording	If call recording is enabled for the service used to make IDA calls, these options will determine what proportion of those calls are recorded. Choosing to record a certain percentage of calls means that each time a call occurs it is as likely to be recorded as the percentage you chose. For example, if you chose to record 80% of calls, each new call has an 80% base chance of being recorded. For that reason, the actual number of calls that are automatically recorded will be close to—but not exactly—80% of the total. If elective recording is selected here, the caller will be able to control call recording using DTMF keys, similar to an Agent.
   International Routing Prefix	Applies an international code prefix to the CLI.

   There are other, less commonly-used settings available here. Please contact a system Administrator for guidance in using these.

5. Click Save Changes.
