The Numbers Tab

Previous: The Service Tab

This part of the process determines which numbers are assigned to the new service.

Implementation

  1. Use the filter options at the top of the phone number list to choose:
    • How many numbers you want to add to the initial service.
    • What prefix those numbers should have.

Certain prefixes have restrictions; for example, some numbers are forbidden from being publicly advertised. In cases like this, a check box will appear, and you will need to tick to confirm you agree to these restrictions.

    • What grade the numbers should be (affecting how memorable they are, and how much they cost).
    • How they should be chosen (for example, whether they are the next available, are a random selection, or contain specific number segments).
    • Where the numbers should come from (for example, the public pool, or the pool for an existing customer).
  2. Click Search to fetch a list of numbers matching your criteria.
  3. Add the numbers you want, using either of the following methods:
    • One at a time: Click the Add button for each number you want.
    • Simultaneously: Tick the check box of any number you want to add, then click Add Ticked Numbers.

Use the check box underneath the list to quickly select or deselect all listed numbers.

  4. Repeat this process until you have a complete set of numbers for the new service. You'll be able to see a list of Pricing for the chosen numbers based on the current Billing tab, as well as any additional costs associated with the service itself. This list will update as you add and remove numbers, or change billing options.
  5. Click Next to move on to the Settings tab.
